Dan Pink tells us the right brain is taking over. Sri Aurobindo told us that Intuitive Awareness is the highest and last stage of human evolution. Richard Florida says the Creative Class is on the rise. Any artist will swear by the rejuvenating and energizing power of creativity. If we look at art as the output of human spirit, the foundation of everything we make in this world, it suddenly becomes something much more significant than the afterthought it has been relegated to by the 'machine' of society. What are we if we are not makers?
YOU HAVE TO BE DIFFERENT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE. Real artists are innovators. No matter how you look at it, or what genre you take. Music. Design. Entertainment. Business. Craft. Whatever it is, the genius is the one who has done what nobody has done before. Where would we be without all of those wacked-out artists or madmen inventors, or maverick entrepreneurs? Not here, I can tell you that much.
Why? Because creativity is the force of psychic evolution that continues to push us forward through our potentiality to manifestation. It is the cutting edge of cultural advancement; and it works from the inside out. Inspiration...first, we are inspired. [By what?] Then our intuition channels and guides our creative impulses in a realized, tangible reality. And at the forefront of that reality, you will find the artists...the visionaries, the revolutionaries, the misunderstood...always a step ahead of the status quo.
